At University of California - Irvine¡¯s Center for Research on Information Technology and Organizations (CRITO), Dr. Eric (Chuan-Fong) Shih is part of an investigative team supported by grants from the National Science Foundation to examine the use of new media and information technologies in the home and their impact on family life and home-based work life.
His teaching interests are in the areas of technology and marketing, including internet marketing, database marketing, and marketing of technological innovations. His current research focuses on issues relating to the diffusion of technological innovation at the household level and information technology policies at the national level. He has published his works in such leading journals as Journal of Marketing, Management Science, Journal of Retailing, and the Communications of the ACM. |
