Biography
Dr. Koo studies consumer behavior, with specific emphasis on goals, motivation, and decision making. She has presented research all over the world, including at Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, Stanford University, and the University of Michigan. Her publications include "Dynamics of Self-Regulation: How (Un)accomplished Goal Actions Affect Motivation," written with Ayelet Fishbach and appearing in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (Winner of 2009 ISCON Best Paper Award) and " The Silver Lining of Standing in Line: Queuing Increases Value of Products,¡± written with Ayelet Fishbach in the Journal of Marketing Research.

In 2009, she won the ISCON (International Social Cognition Network) Best Social Cognition Paper Award—one of the most prestigious awards in the field of social psychology.

Dr. Koo has been involved in numerous advisory projects to corporations and non-profit organizations. Several of these projects have focused on developing various marketing strategies and campaigns to solicit fundraising and launch a new brand.

Prior to joining SKK GSB in 2009, Dr. Koo has also worked as a strategic planner at Publicis (Advertising firm) in New York, USA.
