The Executive MBA program at Sungkyunkwan University SKK GSB offers three immersion programs during your EMBA studies. The Immersion Program is a one-week in-depth exploration of global business abroad. The second immersion program offered to the Class of 2025 with Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in Washington D.C. was titled "Strategic Management of Global Corporate Public Affairs."
The program featured 14 in-depth sessions with experts from across the globe, including former deputy U.S. trade representative Wendy Cutler, a key player in the Korea-U.S. FTA, the Political Director at ABC News, and a senior advisor at consulting firm Albright Stonebridge Group.
Students attended sessions such as “The Changing Dynamics of US-Asia Relations, Trade and Investment, and Global Supply Chains,” “The Role of Media and Social Media in Politics and Public Policy," and "The Dynamics of U.S.‐Korea and U.S.‐Asia Business and Economic Relations."
Student Hajin Yu shares her impressions. "Immersion 2 provided a transformative learning opportunity, with insights from seasoned U.S. political and economic experts that deepened my understanding of effective leadership and teamwork. Despite its government focus, the lessons gleaned are directly applicable to my business career. Particularly, Wendy Cutler's influential leadership as former Deputy U.S. Trade Representative in trade negotiations resonated with my aspirations for global leadership."
