Professor Youngju Nielsen received a Ministerial Commendation from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

She was honored in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the 2023 amendment of the Special Act on Corporate Revitalization as a member of the Corporate Restructuring Plan Review Committee under the Act.

The Special Act on Corporate Revitalization aims to improve regulations and relevant procedures to help firms facing oversupply issues engage in voluntary corporate restructuring.

Professor Youngju Nielsen led the amendment of the Special Act on Corporate Revitalization to ensure firms pursuing digital transformation or carbon neutral activity could also be covered by the Act and carry out voluntary corporate restructuring.
