We had an unbelievable global residency program in Washington DC in the Spring of 2017. After truly insightful sessions with Dr. Victor D. Cha, Mark Lippert, Ms. Wendy Cutler and many more who have influenced Korea-US relations on current history and also a US Congress visit hosted by the Honorable Cliff Stearns, a 24 years-member of the House of Representatives, I was wondering what other residency program can provide equal or better experiences.
Clearly, I can state that a global residency program experience in Spain was as good as Washington, if not better. With an academic partnership with IE Business School, a top-ranked MBA based in Spain, we got to learn European views of the global economy and its outlook and had some hands-on analysis on current political affairs around EU such as Brexit. Also an impressive Innovation and Entrepreneurship class in one of the classrooms in a refurbished old monastery was a gorgeous and an unforgettable experiences. In addition, a special reference visit to one of the highly secured hi-tech companies in the world – Airbus, to learn about its Digital Transformation journey was a useful experience to compare its digital readiness to Korean companies.
Last but not the least, with all the great dining and cultural experiences in Madrid and Segovia, we, the soon-to-graduate cohort, can share unforgettable memories from this program, I would like to give an A plus to the whole program (Global Residency I,II,III), This experience would never have been possible for individuals and is only available from this EMBA program.
