SKK GSB Announces New Dean and Faculty Chairs
SungKyunKwan University Graduate School of Business(SKK GSB) announced that Professor Eric Chuan Fong Shih will serve as a new Dean beginning July 1.
Professor Raunaq Pungaliya will serve as a Vice-Dean and Faculty Chair of Analytics Program, Professor Andrew Yi will serve as an Executive MBA Faculty Chair, Professor Kyeongheui Kim will serve as a Professional MBA Faculty Chair, Professor Aleksios Gotsopoulos will serve as a Full-Time MBA & MMS Faculty Chair, Professor Youngju Nielsen will serve as AI MBA Faculty Chair.
The leadership change marks the largest turnover at SKK GSB in decades. He thanked all the SKK GSB community by writing "proud to present the new leadership team."
Especially, he expressed sincere gratitude to Former Dean Jae Ha Lee. As a founding member of SKK GSB, he has led the school with his glaring deanship and experience. Dean Shih said, "we would not be where we are without Dean Lee’s efforts."
Dean Shih’s primary research areas are diffusion of technological innovations and marketing manager’s decision making process. He is also a faculty fellow at Center for Research on Information Technology and Organizations (CRITO) at University of California, Irvine, where he is jointly working on several research projects funded by National Science Foundation to examine the impact of information technology adoption.
At SKK GSB, Dean Shih taught courses on Strategic Marketing, Marketing Research, Product Management, Customer Relationship Management, and Marketing Management for the MBA and EMBA programs.
Prior to arriving in Korea, Dr. Shih was a faculty member at Wake Forest University (US) and Brock University (Canada).
