The Applied Business Project, or ABP, is the capstone of the KB AI MBA. Students form small teams and choose a real-world business challenge to solve at the intersection of business administration, artificial intelligence, and financial services. Because the program is designed for KB Financial Group, project topics focus on key areas of the financial industry, including customer experience, digital banking, wealth management, risk management, financial products, operational efficiency, and the data and AI systems that support them.

The project runs for roughly twelve weeks, from problem definition and scoping to a final presentation in front of faculty and advisors. Along the way, teams apply the analytics, AI technologies, and management judgment they have developed throughout the program to address real-world challenges facing KB Financial Group. By the end of the project, students complete a practical, actionable solution that demonstrates how AI can create meaningful business value and drive innovation across the financial industry.
