Action Based Learning
Applied Business Projects (ABP)

A capstone consulting experience where students apply classroom concepts to a real, multidimensional business problem for a client firm — matched against the reality of professional environments.

When
Fall semester of your second year
What
A complex, multidimensional consulting project addressing a substantive problem for a client firm
How
Work as a member of a consulting team, developing strategic, innovative, and operational plans
Outcome
Apply concepts, methods, and paradigms in a setting that mirrors real professional practice

Learning by Doing

Rather than direction, the ABP provides students with resources and guidance — creating an experiential, dynamic learning environment where outcomes correlate with each student's commitment and the effort invested by both the individual and the team.
