Tenure-Track position in Management
All ranks (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). Beginning Fall 2027.
SKK GSB invites applications for one or more tenure-track faculty positions in Management, at any rank, with the appointment beginning in Fall 2027. SKK GSB is home to a leading global MBA program in Korea, in the heart of Seoul, with an internationally recruited faculty and full-time MBA students from more than 25 countries. All instruction is in English; knowledge of Korean is not required.
THE POSITION
We welcome applications in all areas of management, micro and macro. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in management or a related field prior to appointment. We seek colleagues with a strong record of, or clear trajectory toward, publication in the top-tier journals in the field.
Research excellence is the primary criterion for this appointment. We also care deeply about teaching, as our MBA programs are at the heart of the school, and we are looking for a colleague who will be an engaging and committed educator in the classroom. Across its programs, SKK GSB is building distinctive strength at the intersection of technology and management, including through its AI MBA program and its developing AI and Business Innovation Lab (AIBIL).
WHAT WE OFFER
SKK GSB was established in 2004 with the support of the Samsung Foundation, with the mission of building a world-class MBA program in Korea. Part of Sungkyunkwan University, one of Asia's oldest institutions with more than 600 years of history, SKK GSB is AACSB-accredited. Our internationally recruited faculty publish in the leading journals in their fields; our full-time MBA students come from across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Alongside the flagship full-time MBA, the school offers a professional MBA program, a joint Executive MBA with Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, an MMS program with EDHEC and UC Berkeley, and specialized Business Analytics and AI MBA programs.
