MBA Run Together

To kick off SKK GSB's 20th anniversary celebrations, the "MBA Run Together" event was held at Seoul Olympic Park on May 12th. Around 40 students and alumni gathered to run a 6km course, enjoying both a pleasant networking opportunity and a fundraising event. It was a great start to commemorating two decades of excellence at SKK GSB!

SKK GSB Alumni Association recently hosted the 4th GSB Alumni Insights: Real Estate event! Hyoung Min Kim (EMBA 2022) shared invaluable tips on becoming a building owner, covering essential pre-learning steps and strategic financial planning. The evening fostered learning and connection. Alumni Insights will take a summer break and return in the fall. Stay tuned for more events!

FMBA Students Embrace Sustainability on Taiwan Field Trip
|

|
Our Full-Time MBA students recently returned from an exciting field trip to Taiwan, concluding their 2023-2024 academic year. They visited leading sustainability-focused companies, iconic landmarks in Taipei, and engaged with alumni. This journey of discovery and inspiration will shape their future endeavors as global leaders.

PMBA "Meet Our Cohort Expert" Event
|
|
 |
On April 18th, our PMBA community held the first "Meet Our Cohort Expert" event with Chan Hong (Kevin) Jeong from SKKRYPTO. About 30 attendees learned about blockchain from 10:20 to 11:00 pm. Despite the late hour, the event successfully fostered networking and learning. This initiative aims to become a new tradition with similar future events planned.

EMBA Immersion: A Week in Washington DC

 |
The EMBA program includes three immersion experiences. For their second immersion, the Class of 2025 went to Washington DC for a course on "Strategic Management of Global Corporate Public Affairs."Partnering with Indiana University, SKK GSB organized 14 sessions. Students learned from experts like former US trade representative Wendy Cutler, the Political Director at ABC News, and a senior advisor at Albright Stonebridge Group.

Professor Youngju Nielsen signs a strategic business agreement with Maeil Business Newspaper
|

SKK GSB Professor Youngju Nielsen’s fintech company, iLab, has signed an MOU with Maeil Business Newspaper to develop a 'Target Date Fund (TDF)' index. This collaboration will create TDF benchmark indices tailored to the Korean market, helping to distinguish the performance and profitability of financial institutions.
