On October 21, 2015, the SKK GSB family gathered to raise a glass, share a meal, and celebrate the
Annual Homecoming Day of the MBA program. Executive MBAs, Professional MBAs, and Full-Time
MBAs all joined the festive evening, rekindling old friendships and igniting new ones. Over 100 students,
faculty, and alumni departed from their weekly schedules to show their love and appreciation for their
brothers and sisters in the SKK GSB community.
The program for the evening began with Dean Jae Ha Lee providing updates on the latest school news,
presenting awards to outstanding alumni council members, and giving insights on the direction of the
program. Two guests from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Executive Associate Dean for
Academic Programs Ash Soni and Professor Eric Richards, addressed the diverse crowd of attendees to
congratulate SKK GSB on its Homecoming Day and express admiration toward the global nature of the
program. The evening concluded with an elegant performance by former professional pianist and current
Full-Time MBA student Ms. Jeong Min Song on piano and professional musician Ms. Kyungah Jung on
violin.
Homecoming Day also marked the launch of the new alumni donation program. Now in the eleventh year
of the program, SKK GSB has seen considerable alumni support in recent years. In order to foster
continued growth and maintain its strength as a top-tier global MBA, the school is requesting that recent
graduates give back to their alma mater. The school received donations within the first week of the
program’s inception, demonstrating the strong sense of school loyalty and support among program
graduates.
As successful as the event was, the major advantage of the evening did not come from the programmed
events or from the launch of the donation program, but rather from strengthening the brotherhood and
sisterhood among alumni and current students, domestic and international students, and students from each
of the three MBA programs.
